HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Provincially funded members who travel in excess of 50 kms one-way are eligible for provincial funding for shared accommodations and have the following options for accommodations:

1. Stay in the SUN Provincial Room Block with another provincially funded member (two beds).
   • This option is for a double occupancy (two beds) and is based on room availability.
   • No action required: SUN Provincial will book your hotel room.
   • SUN Provincial will provide a list of members seeking a room share partner, once all funded seats are confirmed.
2. Stay in alone in the SUN Provincial Room Block in a single occupancy room (one bed).
   • This option is for a single occupant (one bed) and is based on room availability.
   • No action required: SUN Provincial will book your hotel room.
   • Provincial funding is based on two members sharing accommodations.
   • Members choosing this option will have half the cost of the hotel room deducted from their wages and/or travel expenses (eg: travel per diem and meal per diems).
     • Allowable reimbursement is half the actual cost of the shared hotel room up to a maximum of $107.50 per member, per nights stay, including taxes and parking.
