Join your Board of Directors, Network Leads, and SUN Staff for a day of information sharing, education, and networking.
Throughout the day we will discuss:
- What's New @ SUN
- SUN's Strategic Direction
- Call for Resolutions & Nominations
- Negotiations Update
- Better Supporting Members with LTD
- Presented by 3sHealth
- Networking with other Networks
- A chance to connect and learn from local leaders outside your SUN Network
- Homework: Start thinking about what you will bring to the conversation. Each local will be asked to submit a report identifying the:
- Biggest issues (max 3) - labour relations, professional practice or member relations
- Biggest successes (max 3)- labour relations, professional practice or member relations
- Navigating Difficult Discussions
- Facilitated by David Dyck, Facilitated Solutions
Lunch will be provided for all in attendance.
Funding Information
Provincial funding is available for the Local President or their designate (one funded spot per local).
Funding shall be applied to each day in attendance of the event and limited to:
- Compensation (income continuance or direct pay on a day off);
- Travel;
- Shared hotel accommodations;
- Meal per diem; and
- Parking, if required.
Locals may fund other members of their executive to attend.
Hotel Room Block
Members are responsible for booking and paying for their hotel accommodations. Provincially funded members will be reimbursed following the event.
A room block has been set up at the Delta Hotels Saskatoon Downtown (405 20th Street East, Saskatoon) for attendees.
Room rate: $204.00 plus taxes and fees

NOTE: Provincial funding for hotel stays is based on shared accommodations; if members wish to book a single room, they will be responsible for half the cost of the hotel room.
