This virtual workshop, designed for Local Treasurer's, will provide members with an in-depth walk-through of the accounting process, do's and don'ts, and best practices for the Local's bookkeeper.
During this session we will look at:
- Defining leadership roles within SUN
- Clarifying Roles & Responsibilities
- New ways to help Locals with their financial responsibilities
- Tips & Tools for:
- Financial record-keeping
- Budgeting
- Year-end processes
- And more!
Templates and a new guidebook will be mailed to all registered participants in advance of the workshop.
FUNDING AVAILABLE:
- There is a total of 48 provincially funded seats available for this event.
- As per Membership Policy 065-M-2023,
- Funding, as per the budget, shall be first allocated within the target group identified, Local Treasurers or designates, by random draw.
- Remaining seats will be allocated to non-treasurers via random draw.
- Funding for this workshop will be limited to wages (income continuance for paid union leave or 8.0 hours for attending on a day off).
