SPECIAL MEETING of the Union

Since January 2024, the SUN Board of Directors has been holding consultation sessions with members across the province to discuss the proposed changes to SUN’s organizational structure.

The feedback received during these sessions was critical in assisting the Board of Directors in conducting a comprehensive review of SUN’s structure, as well as developing proposed changes to our constitution and bylaws, which will be presented to the membership for discussion and a vote during a special meeting.

The Special Meeting to discuss and amend SUN's structure will take place on June 5 & 6, 2024, in-person, at the Queensbury Convention Centre in Regina. A virtual option is not available for this event.

The agenda and resolutions package will be distributed in May, please watch your emails (including spam and junk folders) over the coming weeks.

Call to order is 9:00 am each day; lunch will be provided. Doors will open at 7:30 am.

Registration is open to all SUN members and includes access to both days of the meeting.

Funding to attend the Special Meeting is identical to the funding provided for the Annual Meeting and is determined by Membership Policies 055-M-2023 to 059-M-2023 inclusive.
