Leadership Series: Local President's Workshop

SUN’s Leadership Education Series is designed to continue to build the capacity of our Local Leaders and provide them with the tools and resources they needed to take a focused, consistent and strategic approach to addressing member concerns.

This virtual workshop, designed for Local Presidents, will take a look at the complex and changing practice environment, the crucial roles our leaders play protecting our collective rights and advocating for their fellow SUN members, and the processes in place assist SUN Locals in understanding and navigating their role representing members under the new provincial structure.

Provincially funded seats are limited to 100 seats to be divided between the four sessions and will be determined by random draw; selected members will be notified via email. Provincial funding will be assigned to Local Presidents or designate only; preference will be given to Local Executive members identified in SUN's database, and is limited to wages (income continuance or paid time for attending on a day off).
